Serves me right for not taking a look in here first. I just bought a copy
and I only used it three days before I'm so sick of it I'm going back to XP
Pro x64. I'm going to drive a nail through the disk, package, and all so I
can keep it up on my wall to help remind me I'm sometimes a fool with money.

If I have to spend six months to a year to learn how to use an OS I'm going
to invest it in something that isn't changed all around every two or three
years just so it will look better even though it doesn't matter whether it
half-a** works or not.

(Windows 7) to replace Vista as soon as possible. It isn't even in
beta yet so don't expect it for at least another 18 months.. Both Bill
Gates and Steve Ballmer have admitted to Vista's numerous shortcoming.

Vista is more complicated to use than XP. That's because Vista has more
advanced features than XP. I love XP. I really like Vista, too. When I first
got Vista I didn't have time to learn the OS so I turned on the XP-like
toolbars and treated it like XP. When my computer work load decreased I
bought one of those thick books that should've come with the computer and
gradually went through it to learn the power of Vista. Vista is not an OS
that you can go finger-poking through without fully understanding everything
it can do.

For better or worse, you have to take time to learn Vista.

And, yes, it has some bugs. Vista ain't perfect. But I have my Vista machine
running faster than my XP. And my XP's are running full tilt. XP will be
history as Vista's bugs are cleaned up and heads us to the future.
