| Windows Explorer computer navigation pane is missing... I am running Vista home basic. I used to have a column on the left side of my screen that listed the folder names when I opened up the "computer" option using the Start button in the lower left of the screen. I could click the folders open and they displayed their contents on the right. This made it easy to move files around. As far as I can tell this left column is called the Navigation pane. It has disappeared and I cannot find a way to turn it back on. Any ideas? I'm not even quite sure what I should be asking here -- if you need more info from me, please ask. I'm not sure I even have the right name for the thing. But right now I have no easy way to move files about unless I am doing it from inside a program. I have tried the view options on the bar and have searched help to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. -- --Barb |

| Re: Windows Explorer computer navigation pane is missing... Wow! What a fast answer! And it worked! (Now why couldn't they have put that in help? I've been trying to find the answer to this on and off for a week and a half...) -- --Barb "t-4-2" wrote: [color=blue] > > Barb McC-D;748161 Wrote:[color=green] > > I am running Vista home basic.
