You don't need to enable or create services. In any case, that's an old
service you're looking for that doesn't appear in XP let alone Vista.

What you need to do:

Go to the printer mftr.'s website. Find Vista drivers for your specific
model printer. Install them. Now you will be able to print.

If the printer mftr. doesn't have Vista drivers, you will not be able to use
your printer in Vista. Copy your files onto a CD-R or a usb thumb drive and
take them to a friend's for printing or to your local equivalent of
Kinko's.

Then when the pressure to print is off, purchase a printer that will do what
you want and work with Vista.

Re: SC.EXE, How To Add A Service Please! Cant Print Coursework!

I imagine Malke has too much class to respond to your intemperate message.
She is no "donut", but the owner of a successsful business fixing PCs and
such for the likes of you. She gives her spare time freely to these pages and
we are all grateful. She has certainly helped me in the recent past.

You shouldn't write in an angry fashion about having a new printer. It's
your fault you never told us what kind of printer you had in the first place.

Her advice for you to get the files off your computer and to get them copied
because you are in a desperate hurry was good advice, sorry I didn't think of
it myself.

I suggest you do not use these pages in future if you haven't the skills to
provide the information correctly.

And I hope your course work is couched in more seemly language than you have
shown to us.
