can I still be online when installing sp1-also conect probs 1st tr

can I still use the puter while installing this sp1 update? I have vista
business. I tried to install once before and had wireless connection probs
after. I restored to previous version (pre sp1) but am still experiencing
probs on both laptops. I have called, updated and checked both router/modem
for ccomcast connection, and checked wireless modem for Quest internet
connection. Trying to convert to comcast, but have kept quest in case of
emergency!

thanks

Sure. However, SP1 may need to uninstall and reinstall the NIC driver so
you may have a service interruption if you are surfing. It will even ask
you if you want to restart now or later when it is done.

I have no idea how you are connecting. I probably wouldn't know the answer
anyway but others here likely do.
