| Re: get rid of Recovered messages in Vista Mail & windows live mail That often happens when the computer was shut down or rebooted unexpectedly, causing the database to lose track of messages, which then have to be re-indexed and put into the recovered messages folder. Anything that corrupts the database can result in 'recovered' messages. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP "pro-testor" <pro-testor@silliconvalley.tw.cn> wrote in message news:3d0e9$483da2b3$13957@news.teranews.com...[color=blue] > can someone explain to me why there are new folders being made from time > to time under recovered messages and why I cant delete the folder from > windows mail?
