| Weird Problem Today I installed a program that will let you record any sound coming from your speakers. It's a paid program and it's a reputable program but I noticed something after the reboot. Im not sure it's related or not. When I even move my cursor over a icon on my desktop it gives that windows sounds, like a critical beep. When I click on a topic here in the newsgroup to read, same thing. Clicking on contrl panel incons or any incons up there, same noise. Its annoying. What happened? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

| Re: Weird Problem Hi, Something altered the associated sounds. Go to the Control Panel/Sound, and on the sounds (third) tab, check the defaults. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Thomas" <forgetit@noway.com> wrote in message news:X2KYj.9346$nl7.2765@flpi146.ffdc.sbc.com... > Today I installed a program that will let you record any sound coming from > your speakers. This was (another one of) those rudimentary things that I could do with Win95/98/XP automatically using no third party software but can't do with Vista. |
