| So all of a sudden java changes Vista Aero back to basic? Hi, I don't quite know when this happened but everytime my browsers (either IE or Firefox) hit a web page with a java plug in Vista turns to Vista basic. When I leave the page Aero returns. I presume this is a Java issue. anybody else with a similar issue? thanks |

This is by design and a there is some kind of message pop-up whenever I use BeyondTV. |

There was eventually a Java update that fixed it. Make sure you the latest Java build from Sun. ss. |

I seem to remember that deScaler does that as well. ss. |

That didn't do it but I noticed that the uninstall nor the reinstall changed the classpath variable. After I did that manually all is well. Bad manners on Sun's part. The uninstall or install should have set up the classpath variable correctly. Anyway, no switching off Aero anymore. thanks all |
