Things like keyboards and touchpads are extremely simple to test outside of the Windows environment. On Dell systems you simply hit the F12 key during bootup and select "Diagnostics" or "Utility Partition" and follow the prompts. Regarding Error 815, it is generally an authentication error or connectivity problem. There are numerous possible sources for this error however I tend to look at softwares such as Norton Internet Security, McAfee Anything and other over-the-top security softwares first. JD |
