You need to hang out with a different crowd, one that thinks. You
haven't been following anything because Ubuntu works out of the box and
needs no terminal work to get it or keep it going. Ubuntu has come along
way since I first installed it in 06. For example, you can now change
the grub order with a GUI. NTFS drives are automagically recognized.
Linux friendly printers install with three clicks, scanners as well.
Plug the web cam in and out pops Cheese. No software on a CD required.
