Vista service pack 1.

I have Vista ultimate on a desktop and got the Vista service pack 1.on, i
have a sony laptop with vista business, but do not get the vista service pack
1 on auto updates, but have all the latest updates on, how can i find out if
it is drivers that is stopping it being sent, i checked the alps touch pad
driver for any driver updates but they said it is the latest one on.

IF the Windows Update system scan does not find any conflicting drivers on
your system, it will show in automatic updates.

I have a questions:

If the Windows Update system scan my system. Why don't it tell me the
