We can't tell you what the credentials are. Only you, or someone looking at
the router, can tell you that. Have you set up your wireless on the router?
Is the router compatible with Vista?

How could it not be? Serious question. My router is nearly 4 years
old. I bought it way before Vista. I haven't found anything that is
incompatible with it, wireless or wired.

There are quite a few make/model routers that aren't compatible with Vista.
Just because you don't have a problem with yours doesn't mean anything
except that you've been lucky. ;-) The OP mentioned Siemens and that
company was extremely slow to support XP; I have no idea if they are
equally slow in supporting Vista but it might be a factor in her problems.

My Siemens wireless router is fully supported by my ISP and works fine
under Vista, and, dare I say it, Ubuntu Linux. The only thing that I
would point out to the OP is to make sure that you have your WAP/WEP key
typed
into the configuration of your wireless connection exactly, and be
careful with cases and 0's as opposed to O's. If possible, make your
keys lowercase letters so that there will be no confusion.
