| Gadgets - Sidebar I have a table pc and when I orient my screen in tablet mode, desktop icons get placed under the sidebar. To access them, I have to turn the sidebar on and off. Is there anyway to prevent desktop icons from being positioned under the sidebar for table pc users? -- Regards, Dtyler |

| Re: Gadgets - Sidebar Rightclick the sidebar icon in the Notifications area, then properties. Check the "Always on top" checkbox. Another possibility is to Not 'auto-arrange' icons, and drag them where you want them (in the 'view' setting of a desktop rightclick menu) -- Was this helpful? Then click the Ratings button. | Re: Gadgets - Sidebar I appreciate the quick response but the "always on top" blocks too much of the active screen area. Actually, I have found that "auto arrange" on the desk top works fairly well but then I have very limited access to how to arrange my icons. I was hoping Vista would recognize this situation and "self-adjust" accordingly. Probably a bit much to ask of Microsoft. Thanks again. -- Regards, Dtyler "Mark L.
