Remove Briefcase

Am getting Briefcase option with right click New selections and have removed
it from the registry,
it goes away but it comes back for no reason I know. I am not sharing or
syncing anything,
all hatches battened down. What setting in Vista (Ultimate) will make this
permanently go away
please?

Re: Remove Briefcase

To remove or delete Briefcase from the list of “New” menu items, run
regedit. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Briefcase

Under the Briefcase registry key, there is a subkey named “ShellNew”. Delete
the ShellNew sub-key away with all its values.

Re: Remove Briefcase

Thanks Bob, that did it. Could be the SP1 update to V. Ultimate brought it
back.
