SP1 caused my network card to quit working please help.

Hello,

I have tried everything. I can ping my loopback but nothing else.
If I type in ipconfig /renew I get the following error:
'The operation failed as no adapter is in the state permissable for
this operation.'

I downloaded the lates NIC drivers from Dell for my Intel 82566DC
gigabit network card. Still not working. Should I go directly to intel
for the drivers? Vista is confusing in terms of networking for me can
Microsoft make this any harder?

This all happened after installing SP1.

Any help would be most appreciated..

Respectfully,

Trev

Hi, Trevor.

Did you read the responses to your first post about this, just a couple of
hours ago?

Please keep the conversation in a single thread so that people trying to
help you will know what has already been suggested and tried. And please
quote the prior messages, or at least enough to provide some context.
