folder views

I would like folder views to be set at "details" all the time, for all
folders.
Is it possible to arrange this?

Ultimate vista does not seem to remember the settings....

Re: folder views

Open explorer (your pictures folder for example).

Click Views at the top of the explorer window and select the Details view.

Click Alt on the right side of your keyboard. A hidden menu will open.

Click Tools, Folder Options.

Click the View tab.

Click Apply to Folders.

Either Alt key works for me. I usually use the one on the left.
