Sync Center/WMP auto launch and devour cpu

Simply, everytime I reboot Vista Ultimate. mobsync.exe somehow starts
itself, it in turn starts wmplayer.exe which quickly grabs 100 megs of RAM
and 50% CPU and flickers the crap out of my desktop.

I can't stop it. I've disabled all media center services. Nothing relating
to media center or WMP exists in my startup folder, options or registry.

Offline files are disabled and i've got all watch folders set to ignore in
wmp.

I don't reboot often but this is insane.

Re: Sync Center/WMP auto launch and devour cpu

I know that could happen in XP if there was a WMP file in 'recent
documents'. Don't know if it would help you in Vista.
There's always 'autoruns' to try to find it.

AutoRuns for Windows v8.61:
