| Rundll32 pop up warning I have reciently purchased a computer running Vista. Each time I access a differnet internet page, or just open IE, I get to a pop up window that says NAME: Windows Host Process (Rundll32) Publisher: Microsoft Window I am asked if I want to "Allow" or "Not Allow". It makes no differnece which one I pick, computer and web site act the same. This is a little annoying as I do not have this repeated problems on the other Vista machine I have. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem? |

| Re: Rundll32 pop up warning Hi, You likely have an addon/plugin that is trying to run with elevated privileges. Close Internet Explorer, go to the Control Panel/Internet Options and on the Programs tab click the button to manage addons. Disable unrecognized plugins that are loading with IE, then restart Internet Explorer. If it still occurs, start disabling those that you do know, but are not essential (and actually, none of them are). -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Vacform" <Vacform@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C77C50EF-D01F-4725-80F9-529242CBFDB6@microsoft.com... >I have reciently purchased a computer running Vista.
