| RE: ~~~~~~~~~Vista Reboots Itself~~~~~~~~~~ WoW requires, from memory of XP days with it!, 256MB Ram minimum, and I forget how much graphics it requires. It is written on the box! How much RAM do you have for the vista machine now? As you say, vista is RAM hungry(Home Premium 1G Ram minimum), and Graphics hungry; it takes 128 MBs Minimum to run Aero -- Mick Murphy - Qld - Australia "23Hitamn" wrote: > Ok so I play this game WoW > When I played it on XP, not problems > Same machine, same hard drive but upgraded to Vista > > NOW the machine restarts itself, randomly, it does a complete memory dump > error and restarts itself!!! If you suspect that the memory has errors you can check it using http://www.memtest.org/ or build in Windows Vista memory check tool. Since you did not have this problem with XP I think you have software problem. Before upgrading form XP to Vista have you used Vista Upgrade Advisor? To do list - Check compatibility of your software with Vista especially antivirus software - Update your device drivers - chipset, graphics, sound, etc. |
