Try Mozilla Sunbird, a standalone calendar that will do things that Outlook doesn't, like email reminders. http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird/ |

Open both with a >spreadsheet application and compare the two. I tried to import the csv file, no errors nothing. I entered a BD and then exported the file. Only the entered items showed up. All entries show up in Excell when I open the csv file I exported from fmnot. Ben |

I.e are your field headers the same, etc etc? Are there blank lines in the main csv file etc etc. |

I was hoping there was a program that would accept it so I wouldn't have to input all of it again. |

| Re: Forget Me Not There's a roundabout way..... Windows Calendar can only import .ics (not .csv or .pst) Create a calendar on Gmail.com import the CSV file to Google calendar export to .ics file (use the Help for these two steps, as it's not straightforward) Windows Calendar: import the .ics file -- http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "Ben" <bpugs@remove.cableone.net> wrote in message news:l050t3p0rquc2m4d4g69b66tf2rf34tpi9@4ax.com... > On Thu, 06 Mar 2008 15:45:52 +0000, Gordon <gbplinux******.com.invalid> > wrotc: > >>Ben wrote: >>> I have beenusing CACARD for years with prior version of Windows, but it >>> doesn't seem to sork with Vista. >>> >>> Is their a Vista compatible program that will eremind me daily of the >>> Birthdays and appointmens I have for that date> >>> >>> FMNOT was an old friend adn I miss it. :-( >>> >>> Thanks for suggestions. >>> >>> Ben >> >>How about Windows Calendar, that comes with Vista? > > I have a ton of information in CSV format that I exported from FMNOT, and > I > can't see how to get it into Windows Calendar.. > > Ben |

Once you do that, then there should be no reason why Sunbird should not import the file.... |
