| Re: WMP will not play mpeg files captured with PixelView Video Capture Card The player shutting down at the click of the Play command probably means you have a bogus third party MPEG filter installed. If you go to the Problem Reports and Solutions Center control panel, what is the crash data for this failure: http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#bucket ? You don't mention which version of Vista you have. Premium and Ultimate come with built in MPEG2 decoders that should work great unless a third party stomps on them. -- Speaking for myself only. See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. -- "P. | please Help >>=> Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card. | Rono | Windows Vista | 18 | 04-16-2009 04:40 AM |
