| Vista stopped connecting to ISP After using SPYBOT search and destroy on a ACER computer with VISTA, a computer that teenagers had devastated with Lime Wire and other garbage and was loaded with adwareand 2 viruses, ... the VISTA system would no longer recognize the Clearwire Internet. Yet the same computer using LINUX UBUNTU instantly finds the ISP provider. Can I restore a VISTA Internet recognition file without a total reinstall of VISTA? Two other computers on the same router network work fine with XP and Windows 2000. I think Spybot SD deactivated a connection file ???? |

| Re: Vista stopped connecting to ISP Your router instructions should give you the necessary information to check the settings and addresses you need to connect. There are many other ways, but many times that is the quickest. -- A Professional Amateur...If anyone knew it all, none of would be here!
