computer unresponsive

I have a new dell inspiration running vista home premium with 2gig of ram.
In the morning I have a blue screen and computer unresponsive. Have to reboot
and go through startup repair. Power settings for sleep are never.

Any ideas?

RE: computer unresponsive

As it is a brand name, new computer, which is under Warranty, I would return
it immediately for repair OR replacement by Dell.

Not good enough to have probs like that with a new machine!

RE: computer unresponsive

I found a posting on another thread that suggested updating my bios. I went
to Dell web site and found a critical bios update . I down loaded and
installed it and this morning computer was not locked up.
I can't remember where the thread was with the solution to this problem but
thanks anyway
