Copy / Paste from Word

This is probably stupid ! I have scanned a document into Word, saved it as a
Word document, I cannot find a way of editing this document or use the Copy /
Paste facility. I can print it out - that is all. Any ideas please.

Re: Copy / Paste from Word

When you scan a document, you are scanning an image of the document and
saving it. It's like a photograph - you cannot edit or change it. In order
to extract text from the document you would need to use an OCR (Optical
Character Recognition) program to read the scanned image and extract text.
Check your scanner documentation to see if such was provided with your
scanner.
