SP1 is available via TechNet

Go to the http://technet.microsoft.com/subscriptions/default.aspx page.
Notice the "Top Subscriber Downloads" section.

Re: SP1 is available via TechNet

Are there different levels of Technet Plus subsriptions? My "Top Downloads"
section contains this text: "There are no Top Downloads to display at this
time". I have access to all other software downloads.

Thanks for the help!

From the registry for the BuildLab data value:
6001.longhorn_rtm.080118-1840

Re: SP1 is available via TechNet

Thanks for the additional pointers, they all reference the "Top Subscriber
Downloads" section on http://technet.microsoft.com/subscriptions. I see that
section of the page but instead of a download link for SP1 I see:

"There are no Top Downloads to display at this time." followed by a link:
"See all available downloads." which takes you to the traditional download
area. Any ideas? Thanks!

Tad:

I just saw the SP1 dnload listed on the following:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/default.aspx

I was logged in while trying to find it.
It can be a challenge to find it.

So, log in and paste the above URL into IE's address bar.

Re: SP1 is available via TechNet

Where is the BuildLab key in the registry? I'm doing a search and it is
taking forever. I did the Windows Update SP1 by changing registry keys. Is
this the same update? TIA

Re: SP1 is available via TechNet

Windows Update SP1 by changing registry keys is:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
BuildLab value is 6001.longhorn_rtm.080118-1840

Same as technet versions

David

You are posting this message with 'V6.0.6001.18000'. This is the final RTM
version of SP1.
