| Windows Media Player Radio, and Video Playing. Hi, i am having a problem with windows media player 11 playing online radio and video. I open the browser with the player on and instead of seing the wmp bar to press play and pause there is just a white space with a red cross in the corner. I then did a troubleshoot on most of the players and all of them said i dont have wmp when i clearly do. I checked that the plug in was enable and it was. This is really annoying me now and i am on the verge of giving in, this is my final effort. Please please help me i will really appreciate it. P.S i have tried everything i can. Thanks |

| Re: Windows Media Player Radio, and Video Playing. You might be seeing the current spate of DirectX problems. I would use WMP, tools menu, Options, Performance tab, to uncheck the directX and test the IE display. -- Was this helpful? Then click the Ratings button. Voting helps the web interface. | Re: Windows Media Player Radio, and Video Playing. Nah, that won't work because there's no standalone package for that to install. Interesting thinking though. =) -- Speaking for myself only. | Re: Windows Media Player Radio, and Video Playing. What did you put on the system before you got into this state? I have a tentative fix for what's been done to your system, but knowing what happened first is critical. Had you installed SatelliteTVforPC to this system? -- Speaking for myself only.
