Start Menu Properties

I recently changed the Start Menu properties to the classic view with no
problems and then shortly changed it back to the normal Vista Start Menu with
no problems.

After shuting down the computer and restarting the next day the classic
Start Menu was back and I cannot change it back to the standard Vista Start
Menu.

Any ideas or suggestions? Is there a registry entry I can change to fix this?

RE: Start Menu Properties

System Restore would rebuild the registry "MPU Bags" . You could also turn
off the current theme, and turn it back on in Control Panel / Personalization

RE: Start Menu Properties

Thank you for the response.

Apparently when the Start Menu is changed to Windows Classic the entire
theme is also changed to Windows classic. Changing the Start Menu back does
not (or at least in my case) change the theme back with it. Doing that
through Personalization got it all back to "normal."
