window display options

So I have Vista Home Basic on my new dell and when i open a new window (for
whatever) the window just appears, but I want to know how I find the option
that lets you choose to have your windows sort of...zoom in at you instead of
just appear. I can't find it anywhere and was wondering if anyone knew, or
has any idea what I mean!

Look in Control Panel, under PERFORMANCE AND TOOLS|ADJUST VISUAL EFFECTS.

RE: window display options

Aero is only available in Premium and Business Editions of Vista.
(and they also need a compatible Graphics Adaptor.

Re: window display options

You need one of the three Vista system to use Aero
Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, and Windows Vista Ultimate

You may want to look at these MS Footnotes about the options available in
the different versions on Vista,
