And, how do you get rid of those pesky things!! They're more of a nuisance than Bill is to Hillary! -- Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care... |

Maybe one of the other tweaking programs can turn them off, but they can be pretty handy. ss. |

| Re: Those narrow, rectangular window things...... That's because the tweaking for this is built right in,,,,,,,,,, Open Explorer and click on Tools then Folder Options then the View tab. At the bottom uncheck "Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items" -- All the best, SG "Synapse Syndrome" <synapse@NOSPAMgomez404.elitemail.org> wrote in message news:u8ckxJUZIHA.984@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl...[color=blue] > "Sig" <Ziggy******.com> wrote in message > news:0F4EC651-C2A6-408A-9A3A-9D0505635FC7@microsoft.com...[color=green] >> What do you call those narrow white rectangular windows that appear every >> time my clicker points at something, to tell me what I'm looking at!? >> And, >> how do you get rid of those pesky things!!
