| Alienware and Vista ? My son is looking for a laptop running under Vista that will have as much "graphic Power" as possible. We found that Alienware was the only solution available in Switzerland, with a double Nvidia 8700 GT card. Problem is, I've never heard of this brand. Anybody knows anything about its reliability? They used to make some ugly looking laptops (for my taste), and they cost a lot, but are probably amongst the most powerful you can get, for gaming. As always, Wikipedia could tell you more. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alienware You also might look into those Asus laptops, which you can upgrade the graphics card easily, by plugging in a new one. I do not know much about them, only that they exist. ss. |
