| Re: a heavy blow to the vista propaganda spreaders.... > Don't expect a reply from the OP. Here is a reply some people using vista with a limited amount of applications on all new hardware do not have problems. To those people even I say get vista with a new computer.. but introducing vista into a computer environment with old peripherals hardware, and programs that someone needs to use for work yet they have problems with vista is a nightmare.... even if everything is new, hardware and software, if you use the computer enough, you will run into twice as many problems than you did with XP.. not to mention the degrade in speed and performance "David" <dgprozzoLEAVE@bellsouthOUT.net> wrote in message news:urq0UV2XIHA.3556@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > You and I like Vista because it works well for us. | Re: a heavy blow to the vista propaganda... Hi, Bob, if you want folks to take what you say more serioulsy, you should speak in a more shcolarly way and show evidence for what you are saying. If you don't like Vista, give some examples of where the OS has failed, rather than throw forward an essay that shows bitterness and bias. It's clear you don't like Microsoft more than it is clear that Vista is a bad OS. -- Cheers, D-man |

I loaded the very first 4k series longhorn on a 1gig celery 512RAM and 32meg video. Obviously is wasn't very fast, but nothing was really "fast" on that box. It sure was not a nightmare though. But of course, that doesn't answer the question. |

Wrong. I have a POS Acer eBay special. Definitely NOT top of the line. I run everything on Vista that I did on XP. Poser, Bryce, PSP, and even software circa 2001 run fine. > but introducing vista into a computer environment with old peripherals > hardware, and programs that someone needs to use for work yet they have > problems with vista is a nightmare.... Wrong again. Run my home business on it with ZERO problems. Popped in an old HP F340, HP CD16b CD-RW, my old Memorex mouse. Even popped some IDE to SATA adapters on my older Barracudas. Have yet to have a problem with anything I have thrown at it. Running Office 2007 Enterprise, QuickBooks, and a plethora of other apps. Again NO problems. > even if everything is new, hardware and software, if you use the computer > enough, you will run into twice as many problems than you did with XP.. Again wrong. Have yet to have one BSOD under Vista. Apps like Bryce and Poser choked XP. Vista barely blinks at them. You REALLY need to get your facts straight before posting this stuff. > not to mention the degrade in speed and performance **** you're not doing to well are you? My machine is as fast or faster in some areas than XP, so that dog don't hunt. Again, get the facts straight before posting blatantly untrue information. -- Sanity calms, but madness is more interesting. http://www.lockergnome.com/darksentinel Undo the munge to reply by email > "David" <dgprozzoLEAVE@bellsouthOUT.net> wrote in message > news:urq0UV2XIHA.3556@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... >> You and I like Vista because it works well for us.
