Hi all....

I have a new HP Pavilion 9628nr laptop that came with Vista Home Premium
pre-loaded on it.

I purchased the Vista Ultimate Anytime Upgrade directly from Microsoft and
saved the license file to the hard drive on the laptop. I've tried to
upgrade to Ultimate about 3 times, using the Anytime Upgrade option, but it
keeps failing.

The upgrade gets almost to the end of the process and then it throws an
error stating that there are some system components that cannot be upgraded
and that I should check my machine to make sure it is compatible.

I have checked the laptop and it is fully compatible with Vista Ultimate.
I've got 240 GB of hard drive space (about 200 GB free), 2 GB of RAM and all
the latest drivers for my hardware.

I paid $159.00 to purchase the Ultimate Anytime Upgrade option directly from
Microsoft, but am unable to install it. If I can't use it, does anyone know
if MS has a return policy for uninstallable upgrades?

I'd much rather be able to install Ultimate as I have it on my desktop and
need the capabilities it has (RDP, etc.) on the laptop. Any ideas?
