| Windows Experience Rating The windows experience rating for my machine is 1.0! It is being dragged down by my video card, a Sapphire X1950 Pro with 512MB. The graphics and gaming subscore is 1.0. I thought it might be problems with this video card and I pulled it out and installed an ATI Radeon 850XL with 256MB - same score. I tried the ATI latest drivers and earlier drivers, no change. Everything seems to be working fine. The only thing I can see is an exclamation mark, "! New hardware detected, your Windows Experience Index needs to be refreshed" No matter how many time I refresh this index, I keep getting this message. This is obviously a problem with Vista and not with the video card. Is there a way to correct this problem? Al |
