OK, I sit corrected. So we've come to the conclusion that it's probably
best to uninstall your current version before installing the new one.

Which is what I will do. That said, Comodo Pro running in XP is similar
to UAC in Vista. I'm impressed.

The thread in which PA Bear seemed to be talking to himself bothered me.
I know how those resolutions usually work out - I guess you do too.
Would-be leaders are furnishing crap heaving examples - nastiness works?

Guess where it is located in the matousec.com firewall leaktest results.

I use v3 and don't have any problems.

Comodo Pro in XP = UAC in Vista is a /recommendation/ ? (I recomend you
consult a psychiatrist about your masochistic tendencies.)

It's not as intrusive as UAC and after it learns, it shuts up.

Re: Comodo Firewall update addresses Windows Update problem

Yes. I love joking but don't include those emoticon things.
ANY software that will not allow the OS to update and replace system
files ** IS a joke ** in my opinion. That is *specifically* how malware
operates.

A hardware firewall plus the native Windows firewall provides sufficient
protection and will not hamper the OS nor it's ability to be updated.
Case, closed. Next !

Re: Comodo Firewall update addresses Windows Update problem

Correct, and I don't want to start an argument here, but that's only when
Defense+ is installed. You have a choice to disable Defense+ when you setup
the firewall. If it was malware, do you think you would have a choice? No.
