| How do I change all of the Icons in Vista back to the type in XP & Whoever made the decision to modify the Icons in Vista didn't do a very good job. All of the Vista Icons are very hard to see and they are completely different than they used to be in Window 98 and XP. Those Icons were easy to see and identify and they were consistent from one operating system to the next, as well as from one Application to another. I am now the proud owner of a desktop and all other locations where Icons were a big help in identifying what type of file one was using or looking for and now it is impossible to tell one from the other. On top of that the Contrast of the new designs for things like folders are lousy. I want my old folder Icons back, as well as all of my other Icons. I tried to change an Icon the other day, and the selection of icons given was not acceptable. What happened to the idea of "User Friendly" in computers? Stop changing things foe the sake of change. I've been using computers since they first started being used and every so-called advance takes us a step backwards for some reason. How do I get all of my old icons back? What is the "Simple Solution?" I don't like or want Microsoft's new icons. Sincerely, Bruce Feezel brucef@clearwire.net |
