| Quickbooks 2008 and Vista-file problems Installed Quickbooks 08 on new pc running Vista. Have problems opening company file. keep getting a warning box that "File specified cannot be opened. Make sure not in use by another program or read only. Windows error:System cannot find path specified." If you tap "OK" 20-30 times file will open. Also problem with QB's updates. Been down the road of uninstall-reinstall of QB, QB tech support. etc. After numerous "fixes" QB tech support says a Vista problem. Any help? |
