Repartition Drive in Vista

I succeeded at creating a new 2GB volume (formated as drive F) using
the steps listed in the article provided in this
article--http://lifehacker.com/photogallery/vistarepartition/.

But when I try to create a 10GB volume, it tells me that I don't have
enough drive space--even though there's more than 100gb free.

Before doing anything, the C drive shows capacity 136 gb, 100gb free. I
successfully used the shrink uption to get 10gb of unallocated space. Then
I attempted to create the volume and assign a drive letter to it. But it
tells me that there's not enough free space.

Re: Repartition Drive in Vista

The images at the following link were taken before and after the "Shrink"
step and I've
also included the error message.

Re: Repartition Drive in Vista

You can have only up to four primary partitions on a disk drive.
