Squashed and Narrow Gif Thumbnails.

My frustration knows no bounds with this issue. For some reason, my
thumbnail display for any gif file is narrowed and squished.

I've tried toying around with different display options, setting the
default viewing program to explorer, clearing the thumbnail cache that
vista stores (via the Disk Cleanup utility), and my searches on the web
have proved less than useful to remedy my problem.

Below is a screenshot of what's going on. Crushed thumbnails make it
harder to keep track of my gifs. :/

Any and all help with this issue will be greatly appreciated. Much
thanks.

Re: Squashed and Narrow Gif Thumbnails.

Well give this a try:
Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories and right-click
on the Command Prompt and choose "Run as administrator".
Type in: SFC /SCANNOW and press your Enter key.
