| Re: Buzzing sound Could be the hard drive. make sure ur laptop is placed on a hard surface to regulate air flow and make sure it is not on its side or even tilted a little bit. Could be one of the cooling fans starting go bad, have it looked at and replace the fan. Find a local authorized repair facility and take it to be repaired before you have a more serious problem. -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E8E5CC039D51E3DB!9709.entry "NOGOGLO" <NOGOGLO@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:5BB947CB-EE6D-45E7-8DB7-DE24943C1980@microsoft.com... > Does not sound like the fan...it's just a short buzzzzz...sound for 1/2 a > second or so > > "Andre Da Costa[ActiveWin]" wrote: > >> The fan? >> -- >> Andre >> Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com >> My Vista Quickstart Guide: >> http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E8E5CC039D51E3DB!9709.entry >> "NOGOGLO" <NOGOGLO@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> news:424CF243-8098-4785-8042-22B39880D1F7@microsoft.com... >> >I own two laptop computers, an HP Pavillion 6000 running on Vista and a >> > Toshiba Satellite A10 runing on Windows XP sp2 >> > Both occasionnally make a buzzing sound which is anoying and make me >> > think >> > may be there's something wrong somewhere. >> > Does anybody know why this buzz happens? >> > Thanks for your help >> >> >> |
