I'm a new Vista owner and have just created "network place" for my school
district sharepoint portal. Everything works as it should until I try to
open a document. At that point my computer tries connecting to a dial-up
modem. After canceling this, sharepoint tries opening the document, but I
get a message saying that it cannot do so. Here's the particularly odd part,
if I'm opening a Word document it will actually open the document as it
should after clicking OK. If I'm trying to open an excel or powerpoint, etc
document, however, I get nothing! Suggestions?
