Data Recovery

I was using "Shrink Volume" on my 'C' drive or so I thought. During all of
this I have deleted my external USB drive data and I have no idea what
happened. Can anyone recommend some 'data recovery' programs to sort out
this mess? I have not written to the drive at all. I used to have a program
for such as that (probably on my external drive) but I can't recall the name
of the software. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You might try PC Inspector.

Re: Data Recovery

Thanks, Robert. I am using it right now. Can't believe it's free. Will
report back later if successful or not.

Re: Data Recovery

It seems to have recovered the files but they are all named 'cluster
xxxxxx.exe' or something similar. No folders or the previous names. I have
about 170 gigs of files. Am now trying the 'Recover My Files' program. After
13 hours I stopped it and am trying another method. Thanks again for the
replies.
