| Installing XP into Vista Ultimate with Virtual PC 2007 I upgraded to Vista Ultimate from Vista Home Premium, then downloaded Virtual PC 2007. I cannot get my XP disc to open into Virtual PC, just keep getting a black screen with "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media into selected boot device" How do I access the XP disc or get it to open into the Virtual PC to install?? I saw some help pages on the web with the blue XP installation screens but cant seem to get to that stage....please help! -- Christopher |

| Re: Installing XP into Vista Ultimate with Virtual PC 2007 yes that is probably it...no SP2. | Re: Installing XP into Vista Ultimate with Virtual PC 2007 Christopher, No need to buy another disk. If you have SP2 on a disk you can Slipstream it with your original XP disk, giving you an updated XP disk. There are several apps out there that can do this for you, one of which I like is nLite.
