| 2007/12/12 Windows Update Forced Restart without Notification, Vistaand XP Does anyone from Microsoft read this group? Windows Update on Vista forced a restart without notifying me and closed something I was working on, so I just lost a whole bunch of time. The restart just happened at about 3:09 AM. At about the same time, another Windows XP machine next to me just restarted and lost anything that wasn't saved. |

| Re: 2007/12/12 Windows Update Forced Restart without Notification, Vista and XP Hello recurr, Normal behavior if you have configured to apply and install updates at 3 AM. So no bug, check your automatic update settings. Satrt>Control panel>Windows update, change settings. Here you will find the configuration.
