Shutting off voice commands in Vista Voice-Recognition used with W

How do I shut-off all voice commands in Word 2007 using Vista Ultimate? I
have seen the voice recognition system listen to a word of text dictation,
then go up to some previous paragraph and delete a word. Why would anyone
ever want that to happen? Is there any way to permanently shut-off voice
commands? I never use them anyway.

(Incidentally I was looking for a Voice or Speech Recognition Discussion
Group, if one exists. I gather Windows Vista General Discussion would be the
closest match.)

Re: Shutting off voice commands in Vista Voice-Recognition used with W

Voice commands should be matched in two categories.
One is partnered with your ISP/ find out who gives your
area the best electronics package. This may not be local.
NBC, ABC, even cinema companies may have the exact
structure link that keeps your home updated. People often
forget that the electronic field of a home is valuable. This
is a unity package that defends communities from terrors.
The signal itself is based on protection from invaders and
so is the recipe for the proper equipment for wear and
tear. That is your local production that is right and works
with the water condition that is really in action. Get the
local good product.

Re: Shutting off voice commands in Vista Voice-Recognition used wi

Thank you Mike for the advice on the stop and start listening problem, But
did i read this correctly, You have found a way to make the voice recognition
bar sleep without the pc being plugged in to the mains?

Mike i have just started to use vista speech recognition, i am disabled and
have found it very useful, can you also help me with these problems within
the programme - how do i make the voice recognition work with other
programmes wether they be microsoft or non microsoft programmes? When i get
up word pad, it works great, but when i get up works processor it doesnt work
in that programme and if i get up say google earth (a non microsoft
programme) i cannot seem to get it working properley with that either.

I know i sound thick, but i have tried everything and you sound as if you
have sussed the programme out, can you help me?
