Windows Photo Gallery

I would like to know how (if possible) to make 'Windows Photo Gallery' a
Desktop icon.

Side note: Vista/Microsoft has given me grief! I do not have time to read
their manuals or all the 'for dummies' manuals out there. I have not been
able to figure out how to easily get to my 'printer' and/or 'scanner'
options. I'm not a dummy myself. This was quite easy with Windows XP. Why
Microsoft is so intent in making their software less user friendly each time
I do not know. I do not have the time nor the desire to learn so much with
each change. Please Microsoft take this to heart. There are many other
examples, but that's all I'll say for now. Anyway, enough of my complaining.

Thank you for any answers to the above question.

Rick

Re: Windows Photo Gallery

Of course.
Go to Start - All Programs
right-click on "Windows Photo Gallery" and drag to the Desktop
release and select "Create shortcuts here"

You get to your printer info via
Start - Printers
right-click on your printer and select "Properties"

or click on your printer, and click on "Select printing preferences" on the
toolbar
