Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 Failure to install

In view of all the messages, I think it is time that Microsoft fixes this
problem, since the general fixing suggestions do net seem to help (they did
not with me, as they also did not with all the other persons who posted
questions etc.).

RE: Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 Failure - NOW FIXED

To-day I noticed that there was a new update (november 30) for the above and
apparently Microsoft fixed the bug, because now I could install this update
without any problems!
