| Re: Update failure - Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 Sorry, I just now saw the update stuck to the hard drive. I'll assume the servers were just overloaded (?). A SP for a .Net framework is for the framework itself and is not geared towards any O/S per say, as any framework version can be installed on the computer -- multiple frameworks on the computer. Suggestions? Thanks, DH Just go here: <http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=A8F5654F-088E-40B2-BBDB-A83353618B38&displaylang=en> and download the update manually then go back to MS Update and search for more updates, you should find another security update to install. I spent about 45mins trying to get MS Update to load KB867460 but could not :-( The only way was to do it manually. -- Annie___ (VM BB L)________________________________ http://find-out-more.brion.me.uk - http://email-me.brion.me.uk |

I 'solved' my problem by simply uninstalling 1.1 from Control Panel. |
