| IE 7 Crashes 50% of the time? I know statistics out of my butt, but, I have not browsed lately without it crashing during every session. Any idea's that could help me narrow down the cause? I've been running the same software for 6 or 7 months now. Just Windows Updates and Updates with Avast. |

| Re: IE 7 Crashes 50% of the time? This might not be what you want to hear, but IE is the worst browser out there, in my opinion. I use Netscape 9. You can try that, Firefox or Opera. I think that all are better and more secure than IE. "Vigilante" <kewlvigilante********.com> wrote in message news:A57236BA-D69A-4610-B8C1-5189BF5C02E4@microsoft.com... | Re: IE 7 Crashes 50% of the time? Go to Tools > Manage Add Ons to check if there are any suspicious Add Ons installed that might causing this problem, select it and click Disable. Adobe Flash Player is a likely suspect, make sure the latest version is installed. You could also try Resetting Internet Explorer settings. Click Start > type 'Internet Options' open it > select 'Advanced' (tab) > under Resetting Internet Explorer settings > click Reset. -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E8E5CC039D51E3DB!9709.entry "Vigilante" <kewlvigilante********.com> wrote in message news:A57236BA-D69A-4610-B8C1-5189BF5C02E4@microsoft.com... If IE is crashing, thne there must be errors being logged in the Application or System Event logs, which can be vierd off Control Panel/Admin Tools. What do the error messages in the log indicate as to why IE is crashing? |
