| Re: My Windows Vista Year in Review Hi, I could be wrong, but if I remembered correctly, the 90 million copies are "sales" made by the company, in which, I will assume some (??) have yet to be delivered and installed. It is a common practice for OEMs to negotiate multiyear contracts and to book sales in advance for preferred prices and supports, but not all those sales can be counted as the current year's revenue, and not all those will be delivered in the first year. Thus, it's questionable for counting it as the install base. I don't have those reports around me now but that's what I remembered. It is not my intension to getting into the nonsense OS debate, but I just wish to point out something that I have read several times in this newsgroup that could be misleading. Again, welcome to correct me if I am wrong.
