No windows features are listed

When I click on Programs and Features in the Control Panel and then click on
Turn Windows features on or off all I get a blank form. "Please wait" shows
up for a few seconds and then disappears. No features are listed. No check
boxes.

Is there any way to see what features are available and which ones are
selected? Is there a reason why these features are not showing up?

I am using Home Premium.

Perhaps I did not make myself clear. When I click on "Turn Windows features
on or off" in the left hand column and I respond to the UAC prompt a window
titled Windows Features comes up. When that window opens I see "Please
wait....." for a few seconds. Then the window goes blank. No features are
listed and no check boxes appear.

Re: No windows features are listed

I ended up re-installing windows vista ultimate, since they couldn't do
anything for me on the phone either when I called in. Fixed 95% of my
problems, took forever to download and install all the stinkin' updates after
though.

Like using a sledgehammer to swat a fly. For just this one issue, not gonna
happen. Some say it's a Windows Update problem. That's another one needs the
exterminator.

Re: No windows features are listed

Must not be a general (Microsoft) problem as I have Vista Ultimate both 32
and 64 bit and have actually used that window to turn off a couple features
that I do not need in both OS's. Can't really say what is not working in
your setup and do not know the snapin that populates that window. It may
simply be a service that has been turned off on your system.
