| Time synch... I noticed that my time wasn't correct. I went into the time applet and saw a message saying that there was an error the last time it tried to synch. I used the pull-down to select different time synch places on the internet but got an error on all of them. It doesn't say what the error is, just that it got one. I'm connected to the internet and am running Vista Ultimate. Anyone else seen this? Howard ================================== |

| Re: Time synch... Thanks. Yes, I had tried all of the locations that were pre-loaded into the drop-down list. Eventually I tried opening NTP port 123 in my firewall and it appears that that worked. | Re: Time synch... I have seen this problem due to a few different firewalls when you have outbound monitoring. -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) "Howard Woodard" <woodard@msn.com> wrote in message news:C29B8369-86A0-436E-B97A-8E7D30CC567F@microsoft.com...[color=blue] >I noticed that my time wasn't correct.
